Aviation Repair Station Technician (Entry-Level)
Location: Van Nuys, CA
Employment Type: Full-Time | On-Site
Pay: $19.00–$24.00 per hour, depending on experience, qualifications, and relevant skills
About the Position
CAPS Aviation is looking for a dependable, mechanically inclined individual to join our Van Nuys team as a Repair Station Technician.
This is a hands-on position working with aviation safety and survival equipment, including life rafts, life vests, survival kits, and related equipment. Technicians inspect, service, repair, and overhaul equipment in accordance with manufacturer instructions, company procedures, and applicable FAA requirements.
Previous aviation experience is not required. We provide training for qualified candidates who have strong mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, and the ability to learn and consistently follow technical procedures.

Physical Requirements
This is an active, hands-on position. The employee must be able to perform the essential functions of the position, with or without reasonable accommodation.
The position regularly requires standing and walking and may involve bending, squatting, kneeling, crawling, reaching, and twisting. Employees may be required to lift, move, position, or otherwise handle equipment weighing up to approximately 90 pounds, using assistance, team lifting, or appropriate equipment when needed.
The position also requires the safe use of hand tools, power tools, test equipment, and other equipment associated with assigned work.
Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated pay range for this position is $19.00–$24.00 per hour. Actual starting pay will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, skills, and other legitimate job-related factors.
